AFTER LEAVING THE WHEELHOUSE, OUR IRRIGATION WATER ENTERS A SUBTERRANEAN PIPE, OR MAIN LINE, WHICH PARALLELS VILLAGE WAY, FOR DELIVERY TO THE SYSTEM LATERALS.
REDLANDS VILLAGE DITCH COMPANY
A NETWORK OF BRANCH LINES, OR LATERALS, DELIVER WATER FROM THE MAIN LINE TO THE INDIVIDUAL SHAREHOLDER PARCELS WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION. AT SEVERAL POINTS IN THE SUBDIVISION, RISER STRUCTURES RELEASE AIR FROM THE PIPES WHILE BUILDING PRESSURE TO CARRY WATER THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM.
WITHIN THE CHAINLINK STRUCTURE AT THE CORNER OF HWY 340/BROADWAY & VILLAGE WAY, THIS PADDLEWHEEL SYSTEM ACTS AS A SCRUBBER, AND FURTHER CLEANS ANY DEBRIS OUT OF THE WATER BEFORE IT ENTERS OUR SUBTERRANEAN PIPE SYSTEM.
REDLANDS VILLAGE DITCH COMPANY OPERATES A HEADGATE IN THE REDLANDS FIRST LIFT DITCH, WHICH CONTROLS HOW MUCH WATER FLOWS INTO OUR SYSTEM, AND SCREENS MUCH OF THE DEBRIS FROM THE DITCH VIA THE PERFORATED STEEL PLATES.
